Day1:[Nairobi-Nanyuki-Old Moses camp]
Depart from Nairobi heading towards Nanyuki for lunch, thereafter transfer to Sirimon park gate, this point is 2650m height above sea level. Acclimatization hike begins as towards Old Moses camp, as one passes through the tropical forests of Mt.Kenya. Old Moses camp is about 3300m above sea level. Dinner and Overnight at the Old Moses camp.
Day 2:[Old Moses-Shiptons camp]
After breakfast start the hike up through the moorland vegetation, on an uphill track later turning right at the junction. Water break then continue with the hike enjoying the wonderful sceneries of likii,ontulele, and Mackinder’svalley. Picnic lunches then continue to Shipton's camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:[Shiptons camp]
The day will be spent resting at Shipton's camp, with an acclimation visit to Oblong tarn and Hausberg. All meals and overnight at the camp.
Day 4:[Shipton-Lenana point]
Start climb on the frozen scree to the summit point; Lenana the main highlight of the trek. After short rest descend to Mt.Kenya campsite along the gorges valley. At Mt.Kenya Bandas enjoy log fires as well as dinner and overnight.
Day 5:[Mt.Kenya Bandas-Chogoria-Nairobi]
After breakfast descend a broad track through virgin rainforest and bamboo vegetation to meet transfer vehicle to chogoria town then depart to Nairobi, where you will be dropped at your destined hotel or airport.
