Day 1:[Nairobi-Nanyuki]
Depart from Nairobi heading towards Nanyuki get an opportunity to cross the Equator. Arrive in Nanyuki in time for lunch, thereafter relax and enjoy the Mt.Kenya climate and scenery. This time can be spent preparing your climbing gear. A complimentary walking tour to the equator is provided take photographs and enjoy this spectacular geographical feature. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel in Nanyuki.
Day 2:[Met station]
Early morning rise, breakfast then drive to Naromoru park gate. Thereafter start trek towards Met Station, the hike will be about 3 hours long. Dinner and overnight at Met Station in mountain tents at an altitude of about 3300m.
Day 3:[Mackinders Camp]
After breakfast depart Met Station towards Mackinders camp through Teleki Valley. Teleki valley is below subsidiary peaks of John and Diamond cooler. This walk to Mackinders Camp will take about 4 to 5 hours. Arrival at Mackinders Camp will be in the early evening. Lunch en route, dinner, and overnight at Mackinders Camp.
Day 4:[Mackinder's Camp- SUMMIT POINT LENANA]
On this day of your Mount Kenya trekking, trek from Mackinder's camp to Point Lenana. A 3-hour walk to point Lenana. Enjoy the breathtaking views at Point Lenana. Thereafter,descend to Lake Ellis and Nithi Falls via Hall Tarns,
descend to Mintos Hut, for breakfast later proceed down through the gorge valley to Chogoria Bandas and campsite where you will have dinner and overnight.
Day 5:[Chogoria-Nairobi]
Breakfast then depart for Chogoria village where your transportation to Nairobi will be waiting for you.
