OVERVIEW
This is a 7 days/6 nights safari.2 nights will be spent in the Maasai Mara National Reserve region,1 night at Lake Nakuru National Reserve,1 night at Lake Naivasha,2 nights Amboseli National Park. This tour will cater to all meals except breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last day, special meals such as vegetarian, gluten-free and halal are provided as per preferences. Accommodation before or at the end of the tour is not catered and can be arranged for at an extra cost. Our packaged tour is a guided tour and the services of our professional guide/driver will be at your disposal for the days you will be on safari with us feel free to ask many questions and should trouble arise during your adventure, we earnestly hope not, your guide will be ready and willing to assist. The accommodations on this tour are budget/camping style in permanent structures with beds, beddings, mosquito nets, showerheads, and private bathrooms. While on safari the entrance fees into the parks is part of the package as well as the guided game drives optional activities are at own cost.

Maasai Mara National Reserve,

ACCESS: Can be accessed by a road, the road network is not in a good condition, fly-in option can also be a viable option
The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is 270km and takes 6 hours of driving time
WEATHER: Masai Mara Nakuru National reserve lies close to the equator hence its altitude is affected,this region is colder and wetter
It has two seasons: Dry season: June, July, August, September, October the temperature is 25 degrees, cold evenings and early mornings temperatures of 12 degrees
Wet season: November and December, short rains
January and February, Short showers
March, April, May, Long rains, the wettest month being April
WILDLIFE:Animals:Black Rhino,Bat-eared fox,black-eared jackal,spotted hyena,impala,reedbuck,Thomsons gazelle,eland,topi,buffalo,elephant,giraffe,Lion,Leopard,Cheetah
Birds: Kori bustard, Rufous-bellied heron, Secretary bird, Sooty chat, Usambiro barbet.

BEST TIME TO VISIT: All year round
June to October are the best months for wildlife viewing the vegetation is scarce animals can be spotted easily and animals tend to gather at water holes and rivers, these periods are also best for viewing river crossings.
April and May rains may be a problem for the roads and make navigation a problem.

Lake Nakuru National Park,

The distance from Samburu National Reserve is 326 km and takes 6hrs 20 mins driving time
WEATHER: Nakuru National park lies in the Rift valley region which enjoys a pleasant temperature during the day, nights are cooler
Dry season: June to February; Mostly Sunny, rare rains
Wet season: March to May; Rains are present, not all day, pleasant afternoon temperatures.
WILDLIFE:Animals: Giraffe, Hippo, Buffalo, Zebra, White Rhino, Black rhino, Lion, Leopard, Hyena, vervet monkey, olive baboon, black and white colobus.
Birds: Great white pelican, Greater blue eared starling, Greater flamingo, Hottentot teal, Lesser flamingo

November to April is breeding season, various migration species from North Africa and Europe
April and May there are rains that may interfere with game drives


Hells Gate National Park-Naivasha,

This park can be a good in-between park of Nairobi and Mara.
The distance from Naivasha to Mara is 170km and takes 3hrs 30mins driving time.
The distance from Nairobi to Naivasha is 100 km and takes 1hr 50 mins driving time.

WEATHER: Mild climate due to high altitude throughout the year, the day temperatures are pleasant and cool nights
Dry season: June to October; Nice weather, sunny days, no heavy rains just showers.
Wet season: November to May
WILDLIFE:Animals:Burchells Zebra,Cokes hartebeest,Thomsons gazelle,Grant gazelle,impala,Giraffe,defassa waterbuck,olive baboons,kirk dik dik,stenbok.
Birds: Egyptian and Ruppell vultures, Augur buzzard, Common fiscal, Northen anteater, secretary bird

Amboseli National Park,

ACCESS: This can be accessed by a well-carpeted tar road network, a small stretch of the road leading to the park is bumpy.
This park can be visited alongside a combination of other parks such as Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Tsavo East, and Tsavo West.
The distance from Nairobi to Amboseli is 365km and takes 4hrs 30mins driving time.
WEATHER: The Amboseli region is characteristically hot and dry.
Dry season: June to September; Bright sunny days with little or no rainfall
Wet season: October to May; Pattern of short rains and long rains with, January and February being months with little or no rainfall.
WILDLIFE:Animals: Elephants, wildebeest, Burchell Zebras, Grants and Thomsons gazelles, Big five with an exception of the Rhino

Day 1: [Nairobi-Maasai Mara]
Early morning pick up from your hotel/residence/airport, proceed to our office to meet with members of a small group for the safari and for a briefing as well. Thereafter depart for Maasai Mara making stops at Great Rift Valley viewpoint for sightings of this geographical feature that has its origins in Israel, later wards stop at Narok town for lunch. Arrive in the afternoon check-in at your camp relax and later go for an evening game drive. Maasai Mara National Reserve has one of Kenya's vast plains filled with a variety of animals it is also best known for wildebeest migration that usually happens in the months of July to October, which is one of the Worlds Natural Wonder. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the camp.


Day 2: [Maasai Mara]
This second day is a special day it is not only used for a full-day game viewing but also is when the exciting optional activities such as the Masai village visit and hot air balloon safari are done. For the balloon safari, you will need to rise up at the crack of dawn so that you can be airborne just before sunrise, this magical experience is later followed by a champagne breakfast. Full-day game viewing can be enjoyed from past breakfast till in the afternoon. In the afternoon one can opt for the other optional activity, which is a visit to the Maasai people community. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at the camp.


Day 3: [Maasai Mara-Nakuru]
Breakfast at the camp then check out, this morning can be spent with an Optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about the culture and traditions of the Maasai people. Depart for Nakuru, lunch en-route, with scenic distant views of Mt.Longonot and Lake Naivasha. Lake Nakuru national park the second destination park for this safari features a shallow soda lake, Lake Nakuru, which supports birds, pelicans, and flamingoes. On arrival at Nakuru region, check in and relax at your budget hotel, have dinner, and overnight at a budget hotel.


Day 4:[Nakuru-Naivasha]
Breakfast then proceed for a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, which is best known for thousands of flamingoes nesting at the shorelines hence its characteristic pink rim, this makes it one of the best birding destinations in Kenya. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Kenya, hence it tends to be crowded during the high season. Enjoy your midday game drive which lasts for a couple of hours since the park is not extensive and can be covered after a few hours, later depart for Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel in Naivasha.


Day 5:[Naivasha-Amboseli]
Breakfast then proceed for a game drive at Hells Gate National Park which is located near Lake Naivasha one of the freshwater lakes in Kenya. This lake has a huge population of fish hence attracts a variety of fish-eating birds such as eagles, cormorants, pelicans, and the kingfisher. This vast lake has a crescent island, one can opt to take a boat trip at an extra cost, to the crescent island which boasts of the resident giraffe, zebra, gazelle, and waterbuck as well as varied bird species. Game drive in Hells gate National Park which offers spectacular scenery of towering cliffs and gorges, one can opt for cycling with a bicycle, rock climbing, and hiking at an extra cost, in the gorge. Later depart for Amboseli with lunch en-route.Amboseli National park is popularly known for its large elephants and spectacular view of Mt.Kilimanjaro. Arrive in the afternoon check-in, and relax. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at a budget camp.

Day 6:[Amboseli]
Early morning breakfast followed by full day game drive, at this park herds of elephants can be seen drinking at one of the swampy springs, which traces its source from the Kili's ice cap. Break for lunch thereafter continue with your game drive, Amboseli National Park is most times called the land of giants due to its impressive population of elephants with their extremely huge tusks. Later in the afternoon return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7:[Amboseli-Nairobi]
Breakfast will be accompanied by the last game en route leaving Amboseli. The early morning is the best time prescribed to get clear views of Kilimanjaro. This park is the second most popular game viewing destination in Kenya after the Mara, sightings of varied bird species can also be spotted at Amboseli. Lunch en route; arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Drop off at the airport or hotel.
